The laundry or washer-dryer smells unpleasant.
In order to prevent germs and unpleasant odours building up in the washer-dryer, run the Maintenance wash or Cottons programmes at maximum temperature.
Make sure that you wash at a temperature of at least 60 °C with a powder detergent at least once a month.
We recommend Miele products for thorough and gentle cleaning of your laundry.
Leave the door and the detergent drawer slightly open to allow them to dry.
Check the detergent amount dispensed. The dispensing quantity will depend on the degree of soiling of the laundry, load size and water hardness.
Use dispensing aids (e.g. dispenser balls) if these are supplied with the detergent, particularly when using liquid detergent.
